What Are Mouse?

The house mouse or mice is the most commonly encountered and economically important of the commensal rodents. House mice are of Central Asian origin, but they are distributed worldwide and can be found throughout the Philippines. House mice are not only a nuisance, but they can pose significant health and property threats.

Threat?

They can make you very sick. While the common house mouse is not as dangerous to your health as a deer mouse, they can still spread disease, such as hantavirus, salmonellosis and listeria through their urine, droppings, saliva and nesting materials.

RODENT TRAPS

Rodent poison is usually incorporated in bait, dust, or water formulations. The use of baits within tamper-proof bait stations will not be left exposed to non-target animals to consume.

Bait stations would act as food retail establishments for rodents, they would be placed around the perimeter of the premises to prevent food contamination.
When using the bait stations, we can ensure that.

  • Bait stations will be placed in locations where they do not hinder any routine operations and also out of the general view.
  • ALL bait stations are securely anchored to a surface with a strong foundation(e.g. floor, ground, wall, or any other immovable surfaces) so that they cannot be easily removed.
  • Baits are secured in the feeding chamber of the stations
  • ALL bait stations will be properly labeled with the Contractor’s business name and telephone number with the necessary description “Rodent Bait Station, Do Not Remove” printed on it.
